Widespread, fairly common
Wingspan: 20-30mm

Flight time: Two generations, May-June, September-October
Habitat: Waste ground, open grassy habitats

Food plant: Flowers and stems of Coltsfoot, also Butterbur.
Larvae in leaf mine July-August, then external on leaf.
