Recorded from southern parts of Ireland
Wingspan: 16-20mm

Flight time: June-July

Larvae feed on wild and cultivated Roses, particularly Rosa rubiginosa, spinning the leaves of young shoots together

There are two other very similar species, E. trimaculana and E. roborana.
