Wingspan: 16-19mm
Flight time: August-May, hibernating through winter
Larvae mine undersides of leaves then feed in web beneath leaf
Food plant: Knapweed, Thistles

Agonopterix propinquella and A. subpropinquella are usually recorded as 696x Agonopterix propinquella / subpropinquella as they require breeding from foodplant or genitalia examination to separate.
