Flight time: Two generations, April-September
Habitat: Gardens, parks, woods, hedgerows, especially in calcareous areas

Larvae feed on the flowers of a range of plants including Elder, Hawthorn, Dog-rose, Bramble, Hemp-agrimony and Traveller's-joy
