Mainly western distribution in Ireland
Wingspan: 14-19mm

Flight time: Double-brooded, May-June, July-August. Day and night-flying
Habitat: Dry calcareous soils, cliffs, grasslands

Food plants: Greater Plantain, Ribwort Plantain (Plantago ssp.)
Larvae often feed in groups.
