Wingspan: 16-19mm

Flight time: June-September.
Night-flying but easily disturbed from walls, rocks, tree trunks during day

Food plant: Mosses on walls and trees

There are several very similar species:
Dipleurina lacustrata, Eudonia truncicolella, Scoparia ambigualis
