Food plants: Hazel (Corylus avellana), also Hornbeam (Carpinus betulae)
Mine: June-July and September-November
Egg on underside of leaf. Long, narrow corridor with linear frass throughout the full length. In Hornbeam the mine often follows leaf veins.
