Wingspan: 4-5mm
Flight time: Two generations, May and August

Food plant: Salix (smooth leaved spp.), S.fragilis, alba, viminalis, babylonica, purpurea, pentandra
Mine: June-July and September-October
Egg upper or lower side, near midrib or margin. Corridor with frass +/- filling first half then leaving clear margins. Finally becomes a blotch.
