Wingspan: 24-28mm. Outer cross-line curved, extending to wing tip

Flight time: June-August
Habitat: Broadleaved woodland, hedgerows, gardens, scrub

Larvae feed on the fresh and withered leaves of various trees including Oak and Birch, also Bramble and Travellers-joy
